The Tam Tam Stool...

Habitat Tam Tam Stool DSC_0831 DSC_0834

A blog post on a stool.
Ahhh, but not any ordinary stool, oh no!

This is the chair/stool that I sit on when applying my makeup at my dressing table. I also have one in the corner of my bathroom... for applying Veet to my legs before I get in the shower (you didn't really need to know that really). It is also a stool with clever hidden storage in the lid for bits of things and can be stored really easily due to it twisting apart.

The Tam Tam stool originated from the late 60's and now depending on the style/finish can cost £100 per stool! However this chic white stool only costs £15 from Habitat and comes in a choice of 4 other colours (see here). Of course you aren't limited to using them just as stools inside - these make perfect seating outside and could make for budget friendly side tables.

Even though it is 'just a stool' this is probably the best £15 I have spent on a piece of furniture. I love how it looks, it wipes clean, has stayed white, fits perfectly under my dressing table, stores products that I use but don't want out on display - cotton pads, brush cleaner etc and is good for swizzling around on when you need to reach something (lazyyy)!

A great alternative to the traditional dressing table stool (much cheaper too) and can
also be used is so many other ways!

Fee xo.
