Before blogging the last time I made a wish list was at Christmas time. Oh the joy I get from collecting all the Christmas catalogues and looking through them with a pen and a piece of paper writing down what I want.
Actually I've done that for as long as I can remember. Did anyone use to do that with the Argos catalogue and even write down the item numbers for Father Christmas? haha I hope that wasn't just me!
There is just something about making a wish list even if you know you won't be receiving the items on the list or can't even afford them... it's almost therapeutic. It's a less extreme version of talking to your friend about what you would do if you won the lottery in my opinion and of course it's a lot more obtainable!
Oasis Metal Toe Ballerina Pumps £38.00 (here)
I'm all about flat shoes and wear them practically every day. But I have found you have to chose wisely as pumps/flat shoes don't tend to last that long. So I always look for a good sole or I go for Melissa pumps which are made from rubber and literally last you the longest time ever! So I'm hoping for the price these would have a good sole that wouldn't wear down. The thing I like about them most is the capped toe detail - really pretty.
Pieces Gova Friendship Bracelet £6.00 (here)
The two main jewellery brands that I like on ASOS are Gogo Philip and Pieces. Both have really affordable but quite unique pieces and this is the latest piece of jewellery I am wanting. It could easily be worn on it's own as it hangs nicely or with lots of other bracelets. However if you forgot about the clasp then I'm sure this could be an easy DIY project. I should really try, as making your own jewellery is the latest thing isn't it! But I do have to get atleast one thing off my wish list don't I?
Fiona Hewitt Wu & Wu Petite Delights and Double Joy Cushions £29.99 each (eBay store here)
I first discovered Fiona Hewitt's amazing artwork in a quirky little interior shop in Southport, then hunted down the rest of her work online. Sadly her art prints cost from £150 upwards and they aren't widely available (Paperchase need to stock them as postcards I think!) so the cushions are the next best thing. But they still are rather pricey at £30 each and you would need a few, but I know they would look so cute on my bed. This is the point of wish listing I am feeling.
I'm currently in the process of changing my spare bedroom into an office come blogging room come dressing room! Exciting I know! So on the wall above my desk, well actually next to my desk because the desk comes out into the middle of the room I plan to have a large pin board (like this!) and also some framed art prints. I really love the two prints by Andy Warhol, they are just fun and girly. But I also like another print in the same style that is of butterflies so a trio of the prints would be lovely. I'd love to have them in individual mirrored frames but that would be way too expensive, so some simple white frames with a large border around them will have to do.
Nothing too exciting but I felt the urge to create
a little wishlist of nice things! I hope you all have
a nice weeked :)
