Tiny Selfridges Haul

Selfridges haul
Last week I went to The Trafford Centre and I bought a few little things that I thought I would share with you!

I did buy more than what is in this haul but I thought I would just show you what I got in Selfridges as it's my favourite things about shopping at the Trafford Centre. If you ever go make sure to buy at least one Macaron in the food department and visit the Paperchase consession because it's just lovely!

If you aren't familiar with the Trafford Centre, Manchester, it is a large shopping centre with lots of shops and places to eat plus there is also a cinema and crazy golf etc. My favourite shops there have to be Selfridges, Homesense (it is TK MAXX but only homeware!), Boots (because it stocks Stila, Orly & lots of other lovely brands) and Waterstones (though I only ever buy from Amazon!).
 paperchase postcard

My first stop was Paperchase where I purchased maybe the cheapest item in the whole of Selfridges! I bought these 3 lovely postcards (60p each) which I plan to pin to a large fabric noticeboard in my new office/dressing room. Just so the notice board doesn't look bland with just letters pinned to it.

However I did see a great idea on an interior design blog recently, were someone had collected a whole range of postcards that were a mix of prints, photographs and typography and then over lapped them all to make one large print on A2 card and then framed it. It just looked great and a cheap way of getting something that is custom made for you and also large... because large pieces of art can be quite pricey.

Origins Super Spot remover

I then had a teeny tiny little splurge at the Origins counter with the Super Spot Remover (£13.00/10ml) because I have only heard amazing things about this product. I have only had this a few days now but I can say I am amazed by it! You just dab the smallest amount on any blemishes and within a day you can see it them visibly reduce in size and redness, until they are gone like magic!

I have actually had a small cluster (lovely describing word there!) of  very small spots to the side of my nose that have been quite sore and itchy... actually from using the Benefit Porefessional (it just doesn't agree with my skin) and they just wouldn't go away. In two day of me using this twice a day they are 90% gone! No more being itchy and they now can't even be seen under foundation. So impressed by this product.

For regular Trafford Centre shoppers... there is now a Forever 21 store and also WHSmith sell Nerds for £1.49!

Fee xo.

  3. It's such a good Boots isn't it! Love it even more since they got the little stands in the middle with Stila, Too Faced, Orly etc

The F21 isn't that large but it's good :) especially for accessorises.

  6. I'm glad I read this post for 2 reasons. Firstly it's been ages since I bought anything from origins & the spot remover sounds like something I really could use. Secondly, I've tried the porefessional 3 times now & each has made me breakout (badly!) I'd been blaming new foundation, new powder & new moisturiser but thinking about it in light of your post it's the porefessional that's done it. Giving mine away!!
