A Few Recent Buys

Haul

Recently I haven't been a very good blogger with this blog, mainly because my life is pretty boring and I haven't really got anything to share with you! Except the odd book review & of course what I have been buying... as I always manage to treat myself to pretty things.

Last week I decided to purchase a full size Jelly Belly Candle in Very Cherry (£10.00 - Amazon) after only ever trying out the smaller tinned candles. I hadn't tried Very Cherry before but it smelt so good in Tesco and I love anything cherry scented. But sadly it has been a bit of a letdown and I can't I have enjoyed it. I'm not sure if my nose dislikes synthetic scents but I can't seem to smell it that well (even though I can tell it's a strong candle) and it gives me a headache. So I think I may have to sell it on eBay... or Twitter!

Rob Ryan Believe In People Mug

Due to feeling very autumnal and wanting to hibernate like a sloth I bought myself a lovely Rob Ryan mug (£8.95 - Amazon. I really want to get in to drinking hot drinks this winter as I actually don't drink anything hot, not even tea or coffee... and I'm talking never ever! So I picked up a lovely new mug and the best white hot chocolate in the world. Well maybe not the world but Whittards actually are the most chocolate tasting hot chocolates ever. This Luxury White Hot Chocolate (£5.50/375g - Whittards) mixed with hot milk seriously tastes like melted milky bars!

I also may have bought some early Christmas tree decorations while at a big shopping outlet place. I wasn't looking to buy any decorations but these were only 89p each. At Christmas I plan to paint some twigs/branches white and add some glitter and place them in a glass vase. Then wrap some twinkly fairy lights around them and clips the little birds to some of the branches. My house will be winter wonderland meets Narnia come December!

Latest In Beauty Box

On the spare of the moment I decided to purchase the Latest In Beauty Editor's Picks box (website), this week. But sadly it is no longer available on the website, but I'm hoping it will come back soon so that I can fully review it because it contains so many great products for just under £10. Eleven products in fact with three being full size with a value of £15+.

I will be checking the website quite regular to see if if they box comes back and if so I will write a review of it on Makeup Savvy.

Hope you are all having a lovely week so far.

Fee xo.
